The Femitokon Shell is an engineered operative energy* that when ignited, empowers its host with an array of capabilities. The phasic armor remains inert within a set of implanted cyber-organic spheres until activated by a complex series of hormonal elevations.

Activation occurs with the rapid release of tikolx (h. oxytocin), kontrx (h. vasopressin), and fital-kermatx (h. corticotropin) from the host’s femxtak (h. hypothalamus) that causes the bizertu (h. pituitary) gland to release significant amounts of the mitokermtx (h. adrenocorticotropic) hormone. This discharge makes the itakildos (h. adrenal cortex) release fitalatxi (h. corticosteroids), thus triggering the phasic energy.
Upon leaving the bio-synthetic spheres, the energy fuses first with the nervous system of its host. It then works with the host’s neural energy to enhance their anatomy and cover them in a layer of silver skin that protects them from projectiles and energy-based munitions fire. The host’s brain syncs directly with the Collective, affording instant access to strategic information and immersive weaponry. Although actively fused with its host’s brain, the host retains cognitive control.
Of the fifty officers who participated in Doctor Fyla Uym’s two Project Femitokon trials, only nine survived spherical implantation. Of those survivors, only two succeeded in housing the spheres, a process where the bio-synthetic spheres are integrated into the host’s body and become a part of their anatomy; those who could not adapt physically became operatives in the Femitokon Division. Of the two candidates who housed the spheres after implantation, one not only ignited the Shell but maintained it and used it to its fullest potential.
