Open displays of sexual activity are commonplace in the Citizen’s Bluzsh. It is a place where nudity and sexual freedom are encouraged among patrons, no matter what their caste.
The intense arousal of the resident Zaxiri, combined with the sexual aggressiveness of visiting Marixi, fuels the voyeuristic desires of the most common patron of the bluzsh, the Hizaki.
Private group encounters often occur in the citbluz when instigated by Zaxiri, who desire to share a lover they are fond of with their peers.
Subaki will not engage in overt sexual behavior in public settings; their bodies and affections are shared only with those couples and groups most trusted.
Bizaki prefer intimate encounters with only those they know because they reach climax faster than any other caste. A Bizaki sometimes incorporates semi-private sexual encounters if emotionally involved with Subaki, engaging a Zaxir or a Hizak (or, in rare cases, a Marix).
Public sexual activity outside a bluzsh, club, or residence is taboo; all sexual encounters are to be experienced in private homes or within the confines of a bluzsh or erotic club.
In the past three decades, a proliferation of recorded sexual activity shared on the interHive displays private sexual encounters partaken by the citizenry. Legislation enacted by the Fourth Office of the Committee bans such material from being on the BEBBLE. Efforts to curtail the uploading and sharing of real-time or staged sexual content have seen defeat in the Cloister.

Abnormal sexual practices* among the femmar (there are only a few) include clasper sex (penetrative sex with an elongated object), sex with males (femarctic and human), and violence such as mouth pulling, physical assault, spitting, verbal humiliation, and the drawing of blood.
Dousing (multiple partners spilling climactic fluid onto a single citizen) and penetrative or oral interactions with the gurxul (urino-anal orifice) are considered abnormal yet are common among consenting citizens.
Despite taboos against abnormal acts, there is a proliferation of content on the interHive, including both staged and reality-based content.
Illegal Activities (Sexual Crimes)
- Forced sexual contact has been illegal since the Original Subjects, but the definition of ‘force’ has changed over the centuries.
- Elder sexual activity with castehood-age citizens (pre-teen and teens), if proven, will result in immediate Isolation.
- Sex with related donations or with makers.
- Sex with, or molestation of, sea life and animals.
- For many, sex with humans falls under this category.

- Sex with donational age citizens (age 0-10), if proven, will result in the Termination of the offending citizen.
