Ramaxia is Ramaxicon’s southernmost continent. It is located in the Southern Polar region and is roughly 4.70 million square miles, making it the second-largest continent in the 23rd-century world. An ice sheet natively called The Prime Ramax covers 89% of the continent, while the chilly far west, once a peninsula, remains an ice-free temperate island chain.

Beneath the ice, subglacial landscapes include mountains and valleys where pressure keeps the temperatures fluctuating from 5ºF in the east to 35ºF near the exposed western coast. Temperatures are the warmest throughout the year in the West Islands, which is safest for helovx during the austral summer season.
