Antarctica City

Antarctica City is the helovx name opted by the citizenry for the Ramax Yukat’wagidol  (Ramaxian Import/Export Center) (ram-aks | yuk-aht-wag-ee-doll). Civilian and enlisted citizens call it the AC. It is a surface and submerged deep-water seaport specializing in the trade of raw materials, and to a lesser extent, containerized manufactured products. The AC is one of the busiest ports in the 23rd-century world, and it is the brightest city on Ramaxicon.

Antarctica City’s most significant exports, Tharspin and Tharxian Coal, play a crucial role in the global market. Since the ascendance of the Ninth Gen, however, tharspin is now tightly regulated. The continent’s abundance of rare-earth metals and natural resources allows Ramaxia to export far more than it imports. Another significant export is freshwater sealed in dirtoxian glass, a unique product that the helovx value as much as the water it contains. The city also contributes to the global supply of rare-earth elements, including Light Aluminum, Lanthanum, Cerium, Praseodymium, Neodymium, Promethium, Europium, Gadolinium, Dysprosium, Thulium, and Lutetium.

Antarctica City upholds strict regulations on exports, particularly in the areas of technology and medicine. These measures ensure that no helovx leaves the AC with frivolous tech, such as filmarks, axico, duxpak, or bivels. The city also prohibits the export of medicines and vaccines, as well as genetically engineered animals, plants, or kyrs-run purifiers, demonstrating its commitment to responsible trade practices.

Major imports include convenience foods such as salted chips (crisps), candy, gum, and carbonated beverages. Additional imports are beer, spirits, and printed entertainment (mainly illegal helovx pornography); despite the existence of laws against engaging in sexual activity with helovx, many bluzsh in the AC solicit and service helovx women.

In the era of the Fifth and Sixth Gens, smuggling of helovx males to Antarctica City ran unchecked. As more Ninth Gen entered service there, hidden males faced assault or risked death if cast aside by a citizen who had illegally procured them. The AC has since entered a time of Tenth-Gen administration and staffing, with collected males placed on outbound helovx ships, instead of being turned over to Surface Quarantine for termination.
