Ramaxian Credit

After the Second Ramaxian Gen‘s production, Ramaxia’s sole medium of citizenry exchange has been a digital currency. This non-physical currency, called Credit, or Cred(s), exists on cards (and now FILMARKs) to facilitate payment for physical goods and services and serve as a form of payment via the interHive.

All credit flow in Ramaxia falls under the jurisdiction of the Third Office of the Committee. The CM3 controls the nation’s largest accounts, like the Citizenry Compensation Annex and the Marixi Funding Board. Credit institutions subject to her oversight are Ramaxia Prime Credit, various caste-centric fiduciaries, and the now obsolete Dome Operating Credit*.

*In 2214, CR of Vanda Prime, Eppis Banto (10th Gen), made a motion to remove dome-finance from the Third Office’s oversight. Banto cited that all the domes operating from one central account, with one operational-itinerary standard, seemed fiscally unsound since domes’ Vanda and Utama possessed different budgetary requirements than Dome Pikalit and Dome Toxis. Banto won her motion, and this led to the founding of Citizenry Dome Credit and its individual offices.
