A Digger is a pulsed energy projectile hand orthotic that emits a controlled burst of kyron that upon contact with a target, ablates the surface.
Created by original subjects Bantol (Hizak) and Ilogwo (Bizak), the first digger-gloves issued to Bizaki working in the Artery in 2027 were heavy mittens that emitted ionized plasma to blast rock in small spaces. The signature design became streamlined over time and is now a sophisticated and sleek fingerless glove capable of launching various levels of kyron pulses from the palm of its wearer.
The weaponized version created for World Oceans is called a Palm Blaster.
