Incidents of sexual violence in Ramaxia have been recorded as early as the Ramax Gen. Reports of sexual abuse peaked among the Ninth Gen, and of those reported cases, almost all victims were of that Gen’s minority Subaki. Sexual assault declined sharply in the era of the Tenth, as members of this generation came to recognize certain behaviors as destructive, initiating a legal trend of intolerance.
On Dubol 2, 2228, a work entitled Subaki Toys, made it’s way out of the university culture in Mynu, and into the citizenry literature market. The gol examined the social tolerance of non-violent assault and how it has fostered an unhealthy perception of what is acceptable, and what is not. Mid-year into its release, the Fourth Office barred the title from digital delivery, yet it remains widely read on the interHive and has led to open discussion.
The author of Toys is a Mynu educated Eleventh Gen Subak and mental-health counselor named Tavo Ex. Ex appropriates the helovx term ‘rape culture’ and highlights the similarities between the victimization of her caste, and the treatment of helovx-males by femmar (mostly Marixi) assigned between the poles. She examines the social history of discriminatory attitudes and sexual violence aimed at Subaki and dissects prevailing bizkerbatic attitudes, and attitudes within the citizenry to normalize, excuse, or tolerate sexual violence toward Subaki.
Notably, Ex holds her sister caste, the Zaxiri, accountable for the facilitation of many dubious encounters involving questionable consent.
Zaxiri actively pursue Marixi for sexual encounters, most often at the behest of their Hizak partners. This symbiotic atmosphere flourishes unchecked, and eventually spills over into the lives of disinterested Subaki. Case histories supplied by the Citizen’s Guard detail scores of Zaxiri failing to take the refusal of a Subaki to their suggestions of sexual partisanship, seriously. This culture of sexual opportunism puts every citizen at risk for exposure to non-consensual encounters.

Reaction amongst Ninth Gen Zaxiri to being outed as enabling abusive scenarios has been mixed to mostly negative; in contrast, Tenth Gen Zaxiri have began discussions in the media with their sister Subaki hoping to understand what is and is not, acceptable.
