Foodapaxo

Modern restaurants took shape in the era of the Second Ramaxian Gen after scouts brought back thousands of menus scavenged from abandoned decaying helovx cities. Incorporating their own raw materials, the femmar adopted many dishes long forgotten by post-impact helovx.

Foodapaxo, sit down dining for a fee, boomed when the Fifth Gen came of age. Establishments specialized in staples such as faxuto, bakuti, and zatolixa, anchoring large meals that included vegetation, and other starches.

Soon there were Paxo, smaller establishments that catered to vocational-grazers like Bizaki; they served lighter fare, similar to the pre-impact helovx deli, or road-side diner.

In 2212, Wram Constructs introduced the Wram Processor, a protein sequencer that is fed raw proteins, then disperses prepared dishes as selected from the menu screen, by users. A ten-pound block of raw faxuto and itabix can produce a variety of fully cooked and prepared entrees, featuring meat and sides. Foodapaxo business declined sharply, forcing many locations to consolidate their reach by anchoring themselves with one large establishment in a central location. Smaller paxo remained unaffected by the Processor, with a guaranteed customer base due to their location.

When the Eleventh Gen came of age, foodapaxo culture experienced a resurgence with more of that generation eating out than any other.
