I’ve placed episodes 4 – 12 online free to read in their semi-pretty state. They’ve not been expertly edited so I won’t charge for them until they are edited by a professional (those release in eBook format).
I want to thank my lurkers for speaking up at Curious Cat. I said this over there many times already but– I do appreciate your feedback and your comments! I knew I sold many copies of Suffocation but I didn’t realize how many until I got all those responses. Honestly, I didn’t think anyone was reading anymore and I was so elated to see how many of you there were out there.
There were too many responses at Curious Cat to post and answer but the consensus from the first 50 or so was that no one wanted to read the Episodes at AO3. ((>_<))
Got all the responses I needed, thanks!!!
Right now I’m playing with the notion of posting the free first-draft episodes to AO3, but I’d like some feedback from those that lurk here (Subscribers I did get your answers and thank you so much for responding to me).
Would you rather free episodes be posted here at Femitokon.com, or over at AO3?
I’ve considered the lurker nature and made it easy to reply via Anon at Curious Cat.
Femitokon will return on May 15 with some new changes to the scheme of things. Between work and fannish interests, I’m struggling to keep the original content flowing and that’s not fair to people reading the series.
I’m going to open up unpolished drafts of the episodes and charge only for arcs that are finished and available via eBook retailers. The incentive to read free is for first look only – with collected arcs no long being available once they’ve gone retail.
