After the Femaki’xirpaxul had been broken down in 2099, Femarctic scientists discovered her source of power, a small bundle of condensed energy called kyrsat.
Kyrsat had evolved from the Femati-made kyrsal, a cold-fusion generated power derived from natural kyrsol found in the planet’s mantle.
It was Femarctic energists who’d developed a means of siphoning portions of this engineered kyrsat into manageable spheres, but this energy was unstable in oxygen-rich environments until the advent of the kyr-coil. Kyrcoil technology turned the ancient kyrsat into Kyron, allowing it to be utilized outside an oxygen-starved environment.
